Tadley Age Concern is putting out an urgent call for friendly volunteers to help at its Tuesday morning lunch club — and there’s a very warm welcome waiting for anyone who can spare a little time.

Volunteers needed at the Tadley Age Concern Tuesday lunch club

Can You Spare a Tuesday Morning?

Following a run of illness and retirements within the team, the Tadley Age Concern lunch club is short of helping hands, and would love to hear from anyone in the community who could lend a hand.

What’s involved

  • Helping out in the kitchen
  • Odd jobs around the club
  • Chatting with and assisting our elderly guests
  • And if you play an instrument, that would be a wonderful bonus!

No special experience is needed — just a friendly manner and a willingness to muck in.

When

Tuesday mornings, 8.30am – 1.00pm. The hours are flexible and can be worked around you, so even an hour or two would make a real difference.

Why get involved?

It’s a few hours that mean an enormous amount to the people who come along — good food, good company, and a friendly face to talk to. You’ll be part of a lovely team, and you’ll go home knowing you’ve brightened someone’s week.

Interested?

Please call Linda on 07356 275534 — she’d be delighted to hear from you.

Thank you — Linda
