Sarah Janes Nursery School provides quality childcare within a small and friendly environment.
The nursery is situated in Heath end Village Hall in the quiet Hampshire countryside.
This venue provides a light and spacious area, with the facilities for daily outside play.
All staff are experienced and qualified in caring for young children.
The Nursery is Ofsted registered for up tp 26 children from the age of two – five years.

 We cover the six areas of learning as set out by the Dfes and these include:
1) Personal, social and emotional development
2) Communication, language and literacy
3) Mathematical development
4) Creative development
5) Physical development
6) Knowledge and Understanding of the World

We open on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Morning session 9.15 – 12.15 or 9.15 - 3pm
Afternoon session 12.30 – 3.00
All day session 9.15 – 3.00
Children are welcome to stay for lunch club between 12.00 – 1.00pm

We do not accept child care vouchers but are registered for government nursery funding.

If your child already has a placement at another childcare facility but would like to join us as well, you will be most welcome.
This option helps to give you and your child far more choice. If one nursery cannot accommodate your child everyday, then you have the choice to use another one

Your Childs Progress

All children are allocated a key worker who will look after and record your childs progress within the Nursery school.
Some of the work the children do is taken home at the end of the session. However some is retained, dated and put into individual work folders. This helps to give us a picture of how they are developing.
When your child leaves Sarah jane’s Nursery school you will be given a Transfer Report which gives details of ability in the six ares of learning.
Each childs progress is recorded and easily accessible for parents to view.
