Lionel and Paula have been running the George and Dragon since 1985.

There have been several alterations over the years and the business has expanded considerably.

The actual building dates back to the 16th Century and still retains much of it's original character . The unique oak beams, polished brass and open fires all add to the personal warm welcome that customers receive.

There are two large, comfortable bars with open log fires. We offer an extensive range of bar snacks and a restaurant menu. We have daily 'specials' available along with full meals that range from Curries, Steaks, Lamb, Fish and Vegetarian dishes.
Our meals are freshly prepared on the premises by Paula and our staff.

Our accommodation has been available since January 2000.

We have 4 double rooms with en suite facilities that we offer for Bed and Breakfast.
Each room has a colour television and tea and coffee making facilities. The original building was a 16th centaury barn. We spent several months converting this to the splendid rooms available now.

We have a multi-purpose Function room with a bar available for events.

We can cater for between 30 and 80 people at Skittle Parties. At larger parties such as B.B.Q.'s or weddings we can cater for up to 200 guests.

We have a very large beer garden which is extremely popular in the nice weather.

Set in the countryside - it's ideal for walks - park the car and come back for lunch!

During the summer months we have several 'Classic Car' meetings which are held in our large car park.
