3 burglaries over the weekend!

1 in Silchester and 2 in Brackenwood close, all were by the good old method of opening the front door through the letter box.

The thief just tries door after door along a road, till bingo he finds the one not dead locked, all to easy!!!

Please read my message below:
Dear residents of Tadley, Baughurst, Pamber, Silchester and surroundings area.
During the early hours of Saturday 28th December there were at least 3 house burglaries, all involving stolen motor vehicles from the drives of these houses.
All took place with the owners in bed upstairs. I know I had to recover 3 cars for scenes of crime investigation (one from Reading).

I have written for the Roundabout site before with regard to locking of front doors and taking  keys, handbags, wallets etc up stairs. Its all to easy for a thief to put a short length of specially bent tubing though your letter box, push down on the inner door handle, gaining entry to your so-called secure property in seconds.

It would appear that many people do not lock and remove keys from front and rear doors, even though this type of break-in is happening every night.

I am doing my best to help you not be a victim, with all the heartache that follows………
