Hello to all,
my grandfather, Derek Smith, was born in Tadley in 1927 in what he is pretty sure was called Court Cottage "athwart the common" as he is telling me, ie across the common. Does anyone have any idea of where this cottage is or was, as it may well have been knocked/pulled down by now, and if so could you let us know. Derek has had a look for the cottage, but has so far been unable to locate it and he left Tadley at 1 year of age and therefore has no real memory of the house or indeed the village as it was then.
Any help would be appreciated.
